Eduroam (Education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. It allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campuses and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop.
Yes, you’ll need a semi-decent computer that operates at a good speed and is able to handle a variety of different programs. But your internet should also be fast and reliable. With all of our branches giving both hard-wired and wireless internet access at high speeds, you will never be left in the lurch while in the middle of a life-changing exam.
All our branches are equipped with generators to keep you covered during periods of loadshedding or any other power outages that may be experienced.
We have carved out a separate area for our students with comfortable desks and chairs and room for your textbooks and other items. This will help you focus and get down to work more easily than if you were working on your couch or bed. Parking included.
There’s nothing like a hot cup of coffee to start the day. Some may go as far as to say they can’t function without their daily dose of caffeine! And students are no different. Our packages include unlimited tea and coffee to keep those brainwaves firing on all cylinders. PLUS snacks are available in case energy levels start to drop.
Even though many assignments can be submitted online, you may want to print items for your records or to access offline. We offer printing services with low printing rates so that you don’t need to think ahead. Just ask our friendly receptionists to assist you.
